BDC V2
The second design challenge united global talent to compete, learn, and grow with mentorship from industry leaders.

THE BRIEF
In the second edition of BDC, designers were tasked with building a brand for a forward-thinking electric car company. The goal was to create an identity that reflects a clean, sustainable future- moving away from the typical dark, dystopian narratives often associated with the industry. The brand needed to communicate a clear vision of modern mobility-one that is eco-friendly, innovative, and accessible. Designers were challenged to translate the company’s purpose, mission, and values into a strong visual identity that feels futuristic, purposeful, and aligned with a better, more sustainable way of living.

Project Name - Sylphion
By Jeremy Mura
Sylphion or Zylphion is a Switzerland-based car manufacturer. The name Sylphion is a fusion of "sylph" and "ion.” I researched into Swiss folklore and discovered an elemental being believed to control the air named (Sylph). I merged that with the words ION (Energy/electricity) to create the name.
